I measured the current and found this. 3.6A no heating, 6.5A heating I needed to tune it further. I reduced the capacitance to 0.3uF which should give a frequency somewhere around 290kHz, which is a very rough estimate. The result was nice. 0.86A no heating, 2.9A heating, and the components were just slightly warm.
